Maybe someone here knows a workaround or can fork over some advice.
I work in a facility that has wireless internet access, and all games can play except TOR. It is random, I can connect and play sometimes, but not as much as I get the error 9000.
I typically can never log into the EH, I can get to character select, but once I hit play... 9000 of Doom!
Run as Administrator hasnt helped, and I dont know of any way to access router ports since they are not my routers in the building.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Any chance you can get access to a wired port? That is most likely your best bet. All solution or solution attempts I stumbled across where Port forwarding or routing issues. Therefore if you dont have access to the DMZ or to the forwarding options you will likely be stuck. However a wired port would most likely bypass this.

Wired port?
As in one of those big ass blue cables that goes into the wall?

Yeha those, honestly i would not be caught dead gaming over a wireless network, with a wireless mouse, keyboard or anything else. Encryption and lack of consistency drive me up a damn wall however I know some people dont have a choice BUT if you do have acess to one, and an extra cable give it a shot. Just dotn forget to turn off your wireless after you plug it in or it may default to that anyway.

Man why didnt I think of that. Now its just a matter of finding a cable and a port thats unused.
Also any ideas on why it lets me in sometimes and not others on the wireless?

Steal one from the person next to you, they probably aren't working either.

Because wireless is nasty and inconsistent. Best keep all those electrons inside the wires where they're supposed to be instead of zipping around your head getting uppity ideas about freedom.

I agree with Ralph, I have an issue with wireless and it is terribly inconsistant between verying encryption methods, signal strengths, and other variables the likes of which you do nto need to concern yourself.
